| المستخلص: | \nهدفت الدراسة إلى توضيح دور مراكز تعليم الكبار في خدمة المجتمع. وعرض الواقع الراهن لمراكز تعليم الكبار في الخبرات الأجنبية المختارة. وكذلك توضيح أوجه التشابه والاختلاف بين مراكز تعليم الكبار في الخبرات الأجنبية المختارة وكيفية الاستفادة منها. واستخدمت الدراسة المنهج المقارن. وتكونت مجموعة الدراسة من مركز التعليم المستمر بجامعة جورجيا بالولايات المتحدة الأمريكية ومركز التعليم المستمر بجامعة ريجينا بكندا. وقدمت الدراسة تعريفات متنوعة لمصطلح تعليم الكبار وخدمة المجتمع. كما تطرقت إلى دور مركز تعليم الكبار في خدمة المجتمع. وأسس مراكز تعليم الكبار ووظائفها. بالإضافة إلى تسليط الضوء على رؤية مراكز تعليم الكبار ورسالتها. وأهداف مراكز تعليم الكبار. ثم ناقشت مركز التعليم المستمر بجامعة ريجينا بكندا. والقوي الثقافية المؤثرة على مركز التعليم المستمر بجامعة ريجينيا. وكذلك تناولت الدراسة مراكز التعليم المستمر بجامعة جورجيا بالولايات المتحدة. ومقارنة تحليلية لمركز التعليم المستمر بجامعة ريجينا ومركز التعليم المستمر بجامعة فرجينيا. فضلا عن الإجراءات المقترحة لتفعيل دور مركز تعليم الكبار بجامعة عين شمس. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى أن السياق الثقافي لدولتي كندا والولايات المتحدة الأمريكية يتميز بالتنوع العرقي نظرا لتزايد نسب الهجرة من مختلف الجنسيات فتعدد الثقافات هي السمة المشتركة الرئيسة بين الدولتين والتي انعكست على الدور التعليمي والخدمي لجامعاتهما مما يشير إلى تعدد أوجه الشبة بينهما فكل من جامعة رجينا وجامعة فيرجينيا تتسم بالعراقة والقدم حيث تمثلا أوائل الجامعات بمقاطعاتها.كُتب هذا المستخلص من قِبل دار المنظومة 2018 The study aimed to clarify the role of adult education centers in the community service. It tackled the contemporary status of adult education centers in selected foreign experiences as well as to clarify the similarities and differences between adult education centers in selected foreign experiences and how to benefit from them. The study used the comparative approach. The study group consisted of the Center for Continuing Education at the University of Georgia in the USA and the Continuing Education Center at the University of Regina in Canada. The study presented various definitions of the term "adult education and community service". It also addressed the role of the Adult Education Center in the community service, the principles of adult education centers and their functions. In addition, it highlighted the vision of adult education centers and their mission and the goals of adult education centers. It tackled the Continuing Education Center at the University of Regina in Canada and the influential cultural force at the Continuing Education Center at the University of Regina. The study also dealt with continuing education centers at the University of Georgia in the United States. Moreover, it turned to an analytical comparison of the Continuing Education Center at Regina University and the Center for Continuing Education at the University of Virginia as well as the proposed procedures that activate the role of the Adult Education Center at Ain Shams University. The study highlighted that the cultural context of Canada and the United States of America is characterized by ethnic diversity due to the increasing rates of different nationalities migration. Multiculturalism is the main common feature between the two countries, which was reflected on the educational and service role of their universities, indicating the multiplicity of similarities between them.
