| المستخلص: | تناولت هذه الدراسة الأستاذ الجامعي المفضل لدى الطالبات حيث سعت في أهدافها للتعرف على الصفات الشخصية للأستاذ الجامعي التي تفضلها الطالبات وتفرع عن الأهداف عدة أسئلة تخص الأستاذ الجامعي مثل الجنسية، المنطقة، الاهتمام بالمظهر الخارجي، المرح، الملامح الجادة، السماح بإدخال المشروبات للقاعة، حماسته، كما سعت للتعرف على الجوانب العلمية للأستاذ الجامعي التي تفضلها الطالبات وتفرع منه عدة أسئلة عن الخبرة، عمق المعرفة، الفائدة من المحاضرات أم الدرجات، عدد المراجع، التكاليف، تكاليف فردية أم جماعية، الإلزام بالذهاب للمكتبة، استغلال ساعات المحاضرة بأكملها، الالتزام بحضور المحاضرات، الالتزام بالوقت كما سعت للتعرف على تقييم الطالبات لأساتذتهن من ناحية التسامح، المرح، الفائدة العلمية، الفائدة العملية، الثقافة، عمق المعرفة، الإضافة التي حصلت عليها الطالبات منهم وطبقت على طالبات المستوى الثامن في قسم الدراسات الاجتماعية في كلية الآداب في جامعة الملك سعود وبلغت عددهن ٧٤ طالبة ممن حضر حفل التخرج وجاءت النتائج أن الطالبات يفضلن الأستاذ الجامعي من نفس جنسيتهن (سعودي) ولا يهمهن أن يكون من نفس المنطقة كما يهمهن أن يهتم بمظهره الخارجي وأن يكون مرحا وبشوشا غير جاد الملامح ويسمح بدخول المشروبات لقاعة المحاضرات ويشرح بحماسة. كما أكدت النتائج أن الطالبات لا يهمهن كثيرا موضوع خبرة الأستاذ الجامعي في التدريس ويفضلن الأستاذ الجامعي عميق المعرفة والذي يحصلن عنده على درجات عالية ويستفدن منه علميا بالوقت ذاته، كما ويفضلن من يقرر عليهن مرجع واحد فقط ويفضلن من لا يقرر عليهن تكاليف وواجبات وإذا قرر الواجبات يفضلن الواجبات الجماعية كما يفضلن الأستاذ الجامعي الذي لا يكلفهن بالذهاب للمكتبة والذي ينتهي من محاضرته قبل انقضاء الساعات المقررة للمحاضرة ويلتزم بحضور المحاضرات في الوقت المحدد ولا يعتذر كثيرا. أما عن الواقع الفعلي للأساتذة الذين درسوا الطالبات في قسم الدراسات الاجتماعية فقد وجدنهم متسامحين ومرحين واستفادوا منهم علميا وعمليا كما وجدوا أنهم مثقفين وعميقي معرفة وقد قدموا لهم إضافة. This current study discussed the traits of university professor preferred most by their students. This study defines the personal characteristics seen in university professor. Such personal characteristics are teacher’s nationality, geographical origin, physical appearance, cheerfulness, seriousness, permitting drinks in the classroom and finally his/her energy. This study also aimed at identifying the academic aspects of the university professor, which are preferred by the students. This branches out to teacher’s experience, the depth of knowledge, the benefit of lectures or grades, the number of literature, individual costs or group costs, to mandate going to the library, the use of entire lecture hours and to be committed to attending lectures and being on time This study also aimed at exploring the student’s evaluation of their teachers in terms of forgiveness or tolerance, fun culture, academic benefit, practical benefit, overall knowledge and its depth and the overall improvements that the students obtained. This study was applied to the students of the eighth level in the Department of Social Studies in the Faculty of Arts, King Saud University. In particular, 74 students who attended the graduation ceremony. The final results of this study showed that the students prefer the university professor to be of the same nationality (Saudi), regardless of the geographical area. They care most about their appearance and to be pleasant and fun. These students also preferred a forgiving teacher, allows drinks in his lecture hall and energetic. The results also confirmed that the students do not care as much about the professor's teaching experience. They prefer a professor who has deep knowledge, with who they stand a better chance at getting high grades while learning academically. They also prefer to have one reference with no financial costs. They prefer group study and homework and they prefer the professor who does not mandate from them to go to the library. They also like the teacher who is always present at lectures, starts lectures on time and ends lecture in advance with some time to spare- maybe for questions. As for the professors who taught in the Department of Social Studies, they found them forgiving and fun, they benefited from them academically and practically as they found them rich of knowledge that can be shared. |
