المستخلص:	Vulnerability of chemical plants has always been a matter of concern to society and industry. Such vulnerability makes it imperative to control hazardous situations which origin could be intentional or not. This paper discusses hazard control at chemical facilities from both a safety and security perspective and introduces the concept of integrated safety and security systems and its applicability at chemical facilities.
