| المستخلص: | نجد في التاريخ الإسلامي الممتد عبر قرون عدة، ان للمرأة المسلمة دورا كبيرا في الوقوف إلى جانب الرجل ومشاركته في البناء والعطاء والتغيير والإصلاح الاجتماعي، وهي في ذات الوقت شريكته في تحمل المسؤولية الدينية، فضلا عن انها عنصر فعال في تطور المجتمع الاسلامي والسمو به إلى التقدم والرقي، ولا يمكن القيام بذلك كله واحداث أي تغيير جوهري في المجتمع دون وجودها. وان التطرق إلى ثورة الامام الحسين عليه السلام يحتاج إلى سبر الاغوار التاريخية والاخلاقية والاجتماعية لهذه الثورة، لأنها ضمت شخصيات فذة ضحت بنفسها واثبتت جدارتها في الشجاعة والصبر على المكاره، والذود عن مبادئ الإسلام السامية وإصلاح المجتمع من المفسدين والطاغين بهدف احقاق الحق والعدل، لقد مثلت هذه الشخصيات قمة العنفوان والتضحية والإيثار بما قدموه من مواقف ومثل عليا يعجز القلم عن وصفها. ومن الجدير بالذكر ان المرأة كان لها حضورها المميز فى المسيرة الحسينية منذ بدايتها وحتى انتهاء (معركة الطف) باستشهاد الامام الحسين عليه السلام، لأن الامام الحسين عليه السلام يدرك ضرورة وجود المرأة في هذه المعركة العادلة من اجل القيام بدورها في التوعية والإرشاد والتحفيز على قتال الأعداء والذود عن مبادئ الإسلام الحنيف وأيضا دورها بعد المعركة في توعية الرأي العام وإيصال اهداف الثورة الحسينية الصادقة إلى الرأي العام العالمي بمختلف مستوياته وتصحيح التضليل الاعلامي الذي لحق بالإمام الحسين عليه السلام من قبل الزمرة الأمويه مدعية انه لم يخرج للإصلاح وإنما خرج للحصول على الملك والسلطان.
