| 520 | |a حبا الله مصر بوفرة من مصادر الرخاء التي مكنتها من أن تكون مهدا للحضارة وقد ازدهرت بها مختلف العلوم والفنون. ولقد تردد ذكر مصر كثيرا لدي أغلب الكتاب الكلاسيكيين إلي درجة أنها أصبحت محطا للأنظار واكتسبت مكانة مميزة في مخيلة الإغريق والرومان وأثارت شغفهم لرؤية تلك الأرض ذات التاريخ العتيق-أرض الحكمة المليئة بالعجائب. تستعرض الدراسة بعض الجوانب التي من شأنها أن تثبت وجود السياحة في مصر في وقت مبكر في العصرين البطلمي والروماني وتبرهن بالدليل الوثائقي علي أن مصر أصبحت مقصدا سياحيا معروفا للإغريق والرومان منذ النصف الثاني من الألفية الأولي قبل الميلاد فصاعدا وهذه الحقيقة تستوجب إلقاء الضوء علي كرم الضيافة المصري باعتباره ضرورة ترويجية أساسية لضمان الاستمرارية كجهة مضيفة جاذبة. كما تهدف الدراسة أيضا إلي فحص بعض المعطيات الموجودة من منظور جديد يناقش أن السياحة قد تكون عملة ذات وجهين، ترتكز قوتها الإيجابية علي تطوير العلاقات وتعزيز التفاهم الثقافي بين الدول. في حين أن جانبها السلبي يتمثل في استغلالها العارض كأداة استراتيجية للتجسس واستطلاع الأحوال. |b Egypt is endowed with plenty of sources of prosperity that enabled it to be the dawn of civilization in which flourished all sciences, theology and arts. References to Egypt occur in almost every classical author to the extent that it gained a peculiar position in the imaginations of the Greeks and Romans and stimulated their interest to see the land of enormous antiquity, the land of ancient wisdom, and most of all the land full of wonders. The study reviews some aspects which would substantiate tourism in Egypt as early as the Ptolemaic and Roman times and document that the country became a popular tourist destination for Greeks and Romans from the second half of the first millennium B.C. onwards, a fact that requires throwing light on generous Egyptian Hospitality as a major promotional necessity for a continuous desirable host destination. The study also targets to examine some of the existing material from a new perspective, arguing that tourism was a two-sided coin. Its positive forces based on developing relationships and promoting cultural understanding between nations, while its negative one stands for its casual use as a strategic tool for surveillance on the character of the people, and getting knowledge about places, harbours, and approaches, etc... | ||
