| 520 | |b Fluctuating and declining non oil, and oil revenues before and after 2000 have caused permanent budget deficit in sudan since 1982.The uncertainly in the oil market and the inherent rigidities in government expenditure have made the budget deficit continue. Dependence on oil revenue, lack of alternatives bases and dependency on public expenditures upon which the society and the economy become dependent have aggravated the budget deficit. \ The purpose of this paper is to examine the major factors that affect the budget deficit by developing an econometric model. The paper uses CO-integration tests and error correction model to examine the factors which affect the budget deficit in the short and the long run terms. | ||
