| المستخلص: | يتناول هذا البحث علما من علوم الحديث التي لم يتعرض لها من قبل بدراسة تفصيلية موسعة، وهذا البحث يصلح أن يكون مدخلا لهذا العلم، أبنا فيه عن المراد بعلم شرح الحديث، وبيان كونه علما، ثم تحدثنا عن أهميته وثمرته، وذكرنا نشأته وتطوره وبداية التصنيف فيه، وتحدثنا عن أقسامه ومناهجه التي سار عليها الشراح من بداية التصنيف فيه إلى يومنا هذا، وختمنا بالحديث عن موضوع هذا العلم، والمسائل التي يتناولها في الحديث سندا ومتنا، مع الإشارة إلى بعض التنبيهات المهمة في هذا الباب، وختمنا ببعض النتائج التي توصلنا إليها.
