| المستخلص: | يمثل المكان في الأدب – لا سيما الشعر -عنصرا مهما من عناصر التجربة الأدبية، فالعمل الأدبي حين يفقد مكانيته، فهو يفقد خصوصيته، وبالتالي أصالته، ويتشكل المكان في الشعر من خلال اللغة الشعرية التي تمتلك بدورها طبيعة مزدوجة، فلها بعد مادي فيزيائي يربط بين الألفاظ وأصولها الحسية، ولها نظام من العلاقات التي تعتمد على التجريد الذهني والبعد التخييلي. وقد كان المكان يمثل خصوصية عند الشاعر العربي السري الرفاء تأخذ أبعادها من حياته الشخصية التي شهدت أحداثا ووقائع وتقلبات كثيرة، إذ انطلق من الموصل تلك المدينة المجلله بالعظمة والجمال، والمكللة بمفاتن الطبيعة الخلابة، حاملا راية شعره الذي ينبض رقة وعذوبة، والمفعم بالعاطفة الصادقة الممزوجة بمعاناته وآلامه، وبأفراحه وأحلامه، ليواجه زمنا تكاثرت فيه الأحداث المتناقضة، فعاش تقلباتها مترجما ذلك في شعره الذي مثل صورة لحياته بكل تفاصيلها وجزئياتها، لذلك فقد وقع الاختيار عليه ليكون مادة هذا البحث الذي يحاول استجلاء دلالات المكان في شعره، من خلال منهج تحليلي يستنطق النصوص الشعرية عبر مختلف أدوات التحليل سعيا إلى الوقوف على سمات النصوص الشعرية بأبعادها الفنية والدلالية، معتمدين في ذلك على منهج يعتمد الجانب الهندسي أساسا له ويتمثل بثنائية (المفتوح والمغلق)، كونها ثنائية ذات معيار موضوعي تحاول ان تستوعب الأمكنة بمختلف أنواعها وأنماطها. وعلى وفق ذلك فقد انقسم البحث على مبحثين: المبحث الأول: (الأماكن المفتوحة) والمبحث الثاني: (الأماكن المغلقة).
