| المستخلص: | This study aimed to ascertain the effectiveness of the use of the brainstorming method in teaching mathematics, in relation to developing the critical thinking skills of the preparatory first grade students of the Kingdom of Bahrain. The study was established upon five hypotheses which were formulated based upon the following main question:\nWhat is the effectiveness of the brainstorming method in teaching mathematics, in relation to developing the critical thinking skills of the preparatory first grade students of the Kingdom of Bahrain?\nThe semi-experimental methodological approach was followed upon a sample consisting of 54 students of the preparatory first grade from Az-Zalaaq primary and preparatory school for boys, who were divided in two groups equally; experimental and non-experimental. The researcher utilized the critical thinking test, prepared by Ash-Sharqi (2005), as the study tool, in the case where the research variables were determined in respect to suppositional cognitive skills, interpretation and evaluation of the deductive discussions. \nThe results of the study pointed to the presence of statistically substantiated differences between the average levels of the experimental group and the average levels of the non-experimental group, in respect to testing each of the suppositional cognitive skills, interpretation and evaluation of the deductive discussions, and the critical thinking as a whole.\nThis abstract translated by Dar AlMandumah Inc 2018. هدفت هذه الدراسة إلي التعرف علي فاعلية استخدام أسلوب العصف الذهني في تدريس الرياضيات في تنمية مهارات التفكير الناقد لطلاب الصف الأول الإعدادي بمملكة البحرين وقامت الدراسة علي خمسة فروض تم صياغتها بناء علي السؤال الرئيس التالي:\nما فاعلية أسلوب العصف الذهني في تدريس الرياضيات في تنمية مهارات التفكير الناقد لدي طلاب الصف الأول الإعدادي بمملكة البحرين؟\nوقد تم اتباع المنهج شبه التجريبي على عينة مكونة من (54) طالبا في الصف الأول الإعدادي من طلاب مدرسة الزلاق الابتدائية والإعدادية للبنين قسمت إلي مجموعتين تجريبية وضابطة بالتساوي واستخدام الباحث اختبار التفكير الناقد من إعداد (الشرقي 2005) كأداة للدراسة حيث تحددت المتغيرات التابعة للبحث في مهارات معرفة الافتراضات، التفسير، تقويم المناقشات الاستنباط\nوقد أشارت نتائج الدراسة إلى وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسط درجات المجموعة التجريبية ومتوسط درجات المجموعة الضابطة في اختبار كل من مهارات معرفة الافتراضات، التفسير، تقويم المناقشات، الاستنباط والتفكير الناقد ككل.\n\n |
