| المستخلص: | ولتحقيق هدف الدراسة الحالية قامت الباحثة بتطوير مقياس لتقييم الكفايات المهنية لمعلمي العلوم في ضوء متطلبات القرن الحادي والعشرين حيث تكون المقياس بصورته النهائية من عشرة محاور بواقع إجمالي (67) فقرة، وكذلك قامت الباحثة ببناء برنامج تدريبي مستند إلى متطلبات القرن الحادي والعشرين موجه لمعلمي العلوم حيث تكون البرنامج التدريبي من (10) جلسات تم تقديمها لعينة الدراسة التجريبية في خمسة أسابيع بواقع جلستين أسبوعياً، وقد قامت الباحثة بالتحقق من إجراءات الصدق والثبات لأداة الدراسة. وأظهرت نتائج تحليل التباين المصاحب للفرضية الأولى أن هناك أثر للبرنامج التدريبي على تحسن في الكفايات المهنية لمعلمي العلوم في مدينة جدة تعزى للبرنامج التدريبي المستند إلى متطلبات القرن الحادي والعشرين بلغ حوالي (54). وقد خلصت الدراسة إلى مجموعة من التوصيات كان من أهمها الاستفادة من مخرجات البرنامج التدريبي الذي تم تقديمه ضمن أطار هذه الدراسة في تنمية كفايات ومتطلبات القرن الحادي والعشرون لمعلمي العلوم في المملكة العربية السعودية، وتزويد معلمي العلوم بالإرشادات الهامة والتطورات المطلوبة من أجل مساعدتهم على تدريس طلبتهم في مادة العلوم وفق المتطلبات المعاصرة. The purpose of the study is to investigate the impact of a training program based on the requirements of the 21st century for science teachers in Jeddah city in order to enhance their professional competencies towards teaching science. The researcher adopted the quasi-experimental approach. The study sample consisted of 30 science teachers employed in government and private schools under the supervision of the Jeddah Education Administration, (15 experimental and 15 control), They were purposefully selected from the study population. To achieve the objectives of the current study, the researcher developed a scale for evaluating the professional competencies of science teachers in the light of the requirements of the 21st century, the scale in its final form consisted of ten domains with (67) items. The researcher also developed a training program based on the requirements of the 21st century directed to science teachers. The training program consisted of (10) sessions presented to the study sample in five weeks, two sessions per week. The researcher verified the validity and reliability procedures of the two study tools. The findings of the co-variance test for the first hypothesis showed that; there is an impact and effectiveness of the training program on an improvement in the professional competencies of science teachers in the city of Jeddah due to the training program based on the requirements of the 21st century, which amounted to about (54%). Based on the findings of the study the researcher presented several recommendation, the most important are; using the outputs of the training program that was presented within the framework of this study in developing the competencies and requirements of the 21st century for science teachers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and providing science teachers with important guidance and the required developments in order to help them teach their students in science according to contemporary requirements. |
