Chosen texts- of the most prominent Tunisian folk poets- are cited to achieve this dual perpose, and enrich the research. Some of the questions the research tries to answer are: What is the structure of the Tunisian folk love poem? What is the structure of the Tunisian folk travelling poem? What are the descriptive styles adopted in each of them? What is the value system that connects them? How does the popular poetic imagination work? What is the connection between this popular poetic imagination and the desert society? |
