| المستخلص: | تهدف الدراسة لتقصي اتجاهات طلاب اللغة الإنجليزية بجامعة دنقلا (مجتمع الدراسة) نحو تعليم اللغة الإنجليزية من النواحي السلوكية والمعرفية والوجدانية. وقد شارك في الدراسة عدد 139 طالبا وطالبة تم اختيارهم عشوائيا من كليتي التربية في دنقلا ورومي البكري. استخدم الباحثان أداة الاستبيان لجمع البيانات التي توضح اتجاهات الطلاب نحو تعلم اللغة الإنجليزية. أظهرت النتائج أن الطلاب لديهم توجهات إيجابية نحو تعلم اللغة الإنجليزية، كما أظهرت النتائج أن هنالك اختلاف بين الجوانب الثلاث للتوجهات، وأن توجهاتهم في الناحية الوجدانية أكثر إيجابا من الناحيتين المعرفية والسلوكية. اختتمت الدراسة ببعض التوصيات لتعزيز اتجاهات الطلاب نحو تعلم اللغة الإنجليزية. This study investigated the attitudes of English language towards learning English in terms of the behavioral, cognitive and emotional aspects. A total of 139 participants in the Faculties of Education in Dongola and Romi-Albakri completed a questionnaire as away of measuring the three aspects of attitude i.e. Cognitive, behavioral, and emotional. The findings of the empirical investigation revealed that University of Dongola students had relatively positive attitudes towards EFL learning. The findings also concluded that the three components of attitudes were interrelated in learning a foreign language with the emotional aspect having greater impact than the cognitive and the behavioral aspects. Some recommendations were finally presented learning English language to consolidate the attitudes of students towards. |
