| المستخلص: | تعددت المدارس الاستشراقية، وتشعبت مجالاتها البحثية، فقد أدلى المستشرقون -على اختلاف مشاربهم-بدلائهم في كل ما له علاقة بالإسلام والمسلمين، منطلقين في ذلك من علاقتهم بالمؤسسات الكنسية في أوربا من جهة، وكذا من عصارة ما وصلت إليه مناهج البحث العلمي في الحضارة الغربية من جهة أخرى، ولكن الملاحظ أن تأثير الكنيسة عليهم كان دائما مقدما على أي تأثير آخر، لدرجة جعلت كثيرا منهم يعمد إلى لي عنق الحقائق الواضحة إذا خالفت ما يؤمن به، ونجد من بين هؤلاء المستشرقين كارل بروكلمان، والذي على خلاف صيته وسمعته في العالم الغربي والشرقي إلا أن تناوله لسيرة النبي عليه الصلاة والسلام لم يخل من غرابة، فقد جاءت أحكامه ضحلة، ولم تعد أن تكون اجترارا لمن سبقه من المستشرقين، ولذلك فقد حاولنا الرد عليه بأسلوب علمي وبيان ما وقع فيه من أخطاء. Schools of Orientalism are various, and their areas of research expanded too, where Orientalists – regardless of their affiliation – had written about everything related to Islam and Muslims, and these descriptions were based on their relationship with the ecclesiastical institutions in Europe on one hand, and the latest scientific research methods that have been reached in the Western civilization on the other hand. Yet, it is noticeable that they were highly influenced by the Church to the extent that many of them had deliberately twisted the clear facts if they contradicted what they believed in. Among these Orientalists, Karl Brockelmann, in spite of the reputation that he gains in the Western and Eastern worlds, his approach to writing the biography of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, was full of strangeness, and his judgments were weak, and they were merely a repetition of what the Orientalists who preceded him. Therefore, we tried to respond to him in a scientific manner and attempted to clarify the errors that he committed. |
