المستخلص:Ksar has always been a place where different elements are organized from active life of its inhabitants. the most important is the one that links to agricultural work and foggara that constitute its social and economic substrate Also the Ksar was always a lively place where engaged in market activities, and where there are workshops and manufacturing transformation products needed for daily life and trade. Algerians Ksours are characterized by unity in structural designs and architecture and planning. Several factors have combined to accelerate the degradation of Ksours, and from the findings made during the various visits to the south, the degree of each factor varies from one region to another and a Ksar to another. But the consummate abandonment and lack of maintenance in these structures remains the main cause of degradation, and include among other factors: As raw land which is the base material, is the Achilles heel for these houses because it requires periodic maintenance, Wind also affects strongly the earthen structures. It causes more or less aggravated by the impact of objects transported and the impact of sand damage (sandstorms), water in all its forms, contributes to the decline of Ksours (capillary rise, storm water form showers, leaks poorly designed pipes), new practices introduced by the inhabitants, to which were not designed Ksours (insertion of air conditions) Heavy rainfall are the consequences of the phenomen of climate change due to global warming. The scientific community attributes to a manmade global warming linked to fossil energy consumption inducing atmospheric emissions of Greenhouse Gases (GHG). It is certain that the rainfall will recur in the future and probably with a higher intensity.
