| المستخلص: | Despite the introduction of authentic documents, literary support remains an essential tool in teaching French as a foreign language. However, the mastery of the latter's code represents the main key that lets the teacher be capable of exploiting his classroom. This work proposes a study which deals with the capital importance of teacher training in the use of literary aids in teaching French as a foreign language. Its main goal consists of checking its contribution, its strengths and also its limits. Malgré l’introduction des documents authentiques, le support littéraire demeure un outil indispensable dans l’enseignement du FLE. Cependant, son exploitation en classe dépend de la maîtrise de l’enseignant des codes d’utilisation de celui-ci Ce travail propose une étude qui traite de l’importance capitale que revêt la formation des enseignants quant à l’utilisation des supports littéraires dans l’enseignement du FLE.
