| المستخلص: | يمكن أن يساعد تطوير حدمة لوجستيات الطرف الثالث (3PLs) سلسلة التوريد لتحقيق خفض التكاليف وتقصير وقت التسليم في وقت واحد. في المقابل، يمكن للشركات تحسين الأداء والكفاءة من خلال الاستعانة بمصادر خارجية للخدمات اللوجستية. وبالتالي، تهدف هذه الورقة إلى تحليل كيف يمكن للاستعانة بمصادر خارجية للوظائف اللوجستية لتحسين الأداء العام لشركات النقط والغاز فيما يتعلق بتوفير التكاليف. حيث تم تطوير استبيان عبر الإنترنت لهدا الغرض، وتم اختيار مجموعة سبع شركات للنفط والغاز في نيجيريا كدراسة حالة. وتم استهداف المشاركون في البحث من الإدارة العليا الذين في مجالات اللوجستيات وسلسلة التوريد والمشتريات وكانت واحدة من النتائج الرئيسية هي أن الاستعانة بمصادر خارجية للخدمات اللوجستية لها تأثير كبير على أداء الشركة ككل، مع وجود علاقة خاصة بتحسين مستوى الإنتاجية، والفعالية التنظيمية واكتسب عملاء جدد. يمكن تحقيق هذا التحسن من خلال توفير التكاليف في شراء العمليات اللوجستية والاستقرار المالي وفرصة استخدام خبرة ومهارات لوجستيات الطرف الثالث (3PLs). The development of third party logistics (3PLs) service can help supply chair, to achieve cost reduction and shorten lead time simultaneously. In turn, firms can improve performance and efficiency by outsourcing logistics services with 3PL providers. Hence, this paper aims to investigate how can outsourcing of logistics functions improve overall performance of oil and gas firms with regard to cost-savings and user-firm’s satisfaction Online questionnaire survey is developed for this purpose and a total of seven oil and gas firms are selected in Nigeria as a case study. The research participants are mainly top management staff consisting of managers and supervisors in charge of areas of logistics, supply chain and procurement. One of the main findings is that outsourcing of logistics has a significant impact on overall firm’s performance, with particular relation to the level of improved productivity, organisational effectiveness and acquisition of new customers. This improvement can be achieved through cost-savings in procuring logistics operations, financial stability and opportunity to use the expertise and skills of 3PLs. |
