| المستخلص: | هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى الكشف عن دور السنة التحضيرية في تحقيق التقدم الأكاديمي لطلبة جامعة الملك سعود، وقد استخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي الوثائقي للحصول على بيانات الطلبة عن طريق التقارير الدورية الصادرة عن عمادة القبول والتسجيل بجامعة الملك سعود، والمنهج الوصفي الارتباطي لدراسة العلاقة بين متغير المعدل التراكمي للطلبة في السنة التحضيرية ومتغير المعدل التراكمي لهم بعد التخرج من الجامعة، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (888 طالب) و(439 طالبة).\nوتوصلت الدراسة إلى أنه توجد علاقة طردية (موجبة) دالة إحصائيا عند مستوى 0.01 بين معدل السنة التحضيرية ومعدل التخرج بمعنى أنه كلما ارتفع معدل السنة التحضيرية لدى طلبة الجامعة ارتفع معدلهم التراكمي عند التخرج.\nكما توصلت الدراسة إلى أنه يوجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات درجات عينة الطلاب ومتوسطات درجات عينة الطالبات في تلك المتغيرات، وكانت تلك الفروق لصالح عينة الطالبات.\nوكذلك وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في درجات أفراد العينة في معدلاتهم في السنة التحضيرية تعود لاختلاف نوع البرنامج وكانت كالآتي:\n1- توجد فروق دالة في معدل السنة التحضيرية بين أفراد العينة في (الكليات إنسانية)، وبين أفراد العينة في (الكليات الصحية)، وذلك لصالح أفراد العينة في (الكليات الصحية).\n2- توجد فروق دالة في معدل السنة التحضيرية بين أفراد العينة في (الكليات صحية - الكليات إنسانية)، وبين أفراد العينة في (الكليات علمية)، وذلك لصالح أفراد العينة في (الكليات علمية).\n The current study aimed to reveal the role of the preparatory year in achieving the academic progress of King Saud University students. The study used the descriptive documentary method to obtain students' data through periodic reports issued by the Deanship of Admission and Registration at King Saud University. It employed the descriptive correlation method to study the relationship between the GPA variable for students in the preparatory year and the GPA variable after graduating from the university. The study sample is made up of 888 male students and 439 female students.\nThe study found that there is a direct (positive) statistically significant relationship at the level of 0.01 between the preparatory year rate and the graduation rate in the sense that the higher the preparatory year rate among university students, the higher their grade point average at graduation.\nThe study also found that there are significant differences between the average grades of the male student sample and the average grades of the female students sample in those variables, and those differences were in favor of the female student sample.\nThere are also significant differences in the grades of the sample members in their preparatory year rates due to the different type of program, which were as follows:\n1- There are significant differences in the rate of the preparatory year between the sample members in (humanitarian colleges) and the sample members in (health colleges), in favor of the sample members in (health colleges).\n2. There are significant differences in the rate of the preparatory year between the members of the sample in (health colleges - humanitarian colleges), and between the sample members in (scientific faculties), in favor of the sample members in (scientific colleges).\nThis abstract translated by Dar AlMandumah Inc. 2021 |
