| 520 | |b Sustainable urban development today faces currently multiple and complex problems. The issues of the energy consumption, the automobile transport, the urban dispersai and the migration also lead to very critical situations for the vulnérable populations. The latter represent a high concentration of populations and activities, but also a high sensitivity to climate change and its conséquences. This article begins by exploring the dynamics between urban development, climate change and migration to show the diversity of migration phenomena induced by climate change. It then analyzes the issue of climate change in the urban context as a major challenge in terms of sustainable urban transformation and development. This work also shows the importance of integrating the question of climate migration into climate change adaptation policies. | ||
| 520 | |d Le développement urbain durable fait aujourd’hui face à des problèmes multiples et complexes. Les problèmes de la consommation énergétique, des transports automobiles, de la dispersion urbaine, mais aussi de la migration, conduisent à des situations très critiques pour les populations vulnérables. Ces dernières représentent en effet une forte concentration des populations et des activités, mais aussi une forte sensibilité au changement climatique et ses conséquences. Cet article commence par explorer les dynamiques existantes entre développement urbain, changement climatique et migration pour montrer la diversité des phénomènes migratoires induits par le changement climatique. Il analyse ensuite la question de la migration climatique dans le contexte urbain, comme un défi majeur en matière de transformation et de développement urbain durable. Ce travail montre enfin l’importance de l’intégration de la problématique de la migration climatique dans les politiques d’adaptation au changement climatique. | ||
