المستخلص:The Dorcas is a mammal and one of the five types of gazelles that was represented in the ancient Egyptian scenes. The main aim of the research is to give an overview of the mammal and its bearer in the middle kingdom private processions. This is presented and achieved by reviewing and analyzing the scenes of the dorcas gazelle on the walls of the middle kingdom private tombs. The research uses the descriptive-analytic methodology to provide details about the main subject of the study. The study deals with two main elements: firstly the mammal itself, its origin, class, size, and posture, and secondly the individual that bears the mammal, his posture, clothes, and other equipment holding in is hand.
