| المستخلص: | The research aims at disclosing the relationship between the existential concept and the internal-external locus of control for the teachers of basic education in the city of Homs. The research community consists of basic education teachers in Homs city during the second semester of the academic year 2014 – 2015. The research sample is formed of 352 male and female teachers selected randomly from Homs city schools. The researcher used the test of existential concept as well as Rotter’s Scale of Internal-External Locus of Control. The research tools have been limited to Syrian society. Moreover, the validity and reliability of the tools have been verified prior to practical application of the research. The following results have been found out: 1- There is a statistical relationship between the existential concept as well as its sub-scales and the internal & external locus of control. 2- There are differences in the existential concept as a whole, according to variable of gender in favor of females. It applies also to sub-scales except the scale of death acceptance, which refers to the lack of differences between the two genders. 3 -There is a relationship between the years of experience in one hand and the existential concept as a whole and some of its subscales such like innovative and directional values, challenges facing and suffering facing on the other hand. No relationship among the years of experience, self-determination, life motivation, experiential values and death acceptance. 4 – No differences among teachers in regard with internal & external locus of control according to the variant of gender. 5 – No relationship between the years of experience and the teachers’ internal-external locus of control. هدف البحث الكشف عن العلاقة بين المعنى الوجودي ووجهة الضبط الداخلية والخارجية لدى معلمي مرحلة التعليم الأساسي في مدينة حمص، ويتكون مجتمع البحث من معلمي مرحلة التعليم الأساسي في مدينة حمص، وطبق في الفصل الثاني من العام الدراسي 2014-2015، وتكونت عينة البحث من (352) معلم ومعلمة من بعض مدارس مدينة حمص وتم اختيارهم بالطريقة العنقودية العشوائية، واستخدمت الباحثة اختبار المعنى الوجودي ومقياس روتر لوجهة الضبط، وتم تقنين أدوات الدراسة على البيئة السورية والتحقق من صدقها وثباتها قبل تطبيق البحث بشكل عملي وتوصل البحث إلى النتائج التالية: 1- توجد علاقة ارتباطية ذات دلالة إحصائية بين المعنى الوجودي ومقاييسه الفرعية ووجهة الضبط الداخلية والخارجية. 2- يوجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في المعنى الوجودي ككل حسب متغير الجنس لصالح الإناث وينطبق الأمر على المقاييس الفرعية ماعدا مقياس تقبل الموت الذي يشير إلى عدم وجود فروق بين الجنسين. 3-يوجد علاقة ارتباطية ذات دلالة إحصائية بين سنوات الخبرة والمعنى الوجودي ككل وبعض مقاييسه الفرعية وهي القيم الابتكارية والقيم الاتجاهية ومواجهة الذنب وتحدي المعاناة وعدم وجود علاقة بين سنوات الخبرة وحرية الإرادة والدافعية للحياة والقيم الخبراتية وتقبل الموت. 4-عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين المعلمين في وجهة الضبط الداخلية والخارجية حسب متغير الجنس. 5-عدم وجود علاقة ارتباطية بين سنوات الخبرة ووجهة الضبط الداخلية والخارجية لدى المعلمين. |
