In this paper we analyze the relationship between Yates' poetry and Darwinian theories of evolution, and his position on them, and leaked to his poetry. Darwin's theories leaked in Yates's poetry, and the colors in the floral leaves leaked, and although Yeats might not have liked these theories, the author traces the theory of evolution in Yates's poetry to the world of Irish poetry. | 520 | |a يستطيع القارئ أن يضع يده على مساحات كثيرة في شعر ييتس تظهر فيها العلاقة بين المذهب "الدارويني" ومشروع ييتس الشعري قلقة مضطربة؛ فمثلا: نجد أن منهج ييتس في تناول التاريخ، بمستوييه الرؤيوي والتعاقبي، يتضاد مع التغير التدريجي التصاعدي على مساحات شاسعة من الزمن، الذي يبني داروين عليه نظريته؛ فالتغيير التاريخي في شعره يجري في العادة بطريقة مفاجئة؛ لحظة حلول أو تجسد، وبعدها يتغير كل شيء تغيرا تاما. وفي هذا البحث نطالع تحليلا لعلاقة شعر ييتس بنظريات داروين النشوئية، وموقفه منها، وتسربها إلى شعره. فقد تسربت نظريات داروين في شعر ييتس، كما تتسرب الألوان في أوراق الأزهار، ومع أن ييتس ربما لم يكن ليرضى عن هذه النظريات كل الرضى؛ يرصد الكاتب نظرية النشوء في شعر ييتس بقلم العالم المتخصص للشعر الأيرلندي، ويخلص البحث إلى نتيجة مقتضاها أن ييتس فيلسوف استثمر هذه النظريات في معالجة نظراته الفلسفية القريبة من فلسفة الصوفيين. | ||
