| المستخلص: | This paper studies the influence of the consecutive political events, since the contact with the West, on the constitution and development Arabic novel. The research attempts to discribe and analyse the relationship bewteen the Arabs’ political defeats and disppointments and the floursihng of the newborn Arabic literary art. This relationship resulted in Arabic narritive falling in a state of despair; Arabic novel has become a memory of frustration in modern Arabic history. It embodied an equivalent discourse that showed the reactions of Arabic societies toward the frequent defeats. It als revealed how frustration and despair dominated the intellectual and litearry scenes in Arabic countries. The paper survyes a number of works written by novilsts from different parts of the Arabic world, reflecting on political, economic and military developments in the region. It also highlights the opinions of several critics and theorists of Arabic novel around the issue. يدرس هذا البحث الأثر الذي تركته الأحداث السياسية المتعاقبة منذ الاتصال بالغرب في العصر الحديث على تكوين ونمو الخطاب الروائي العربي. يتتبع البحث بشيء من الوصف والتحليل العلاقة بين الهزائم وخيبات الأمل العربية وبين بروز الرواية العربية كجنس أدبي حديث؛ ساهمت هذه العلاقة في سيطرة حالة من الإحباط على الظاهرة السردية العربية، حتى أضحت الرواية ذاكرة للانكسار في التاريخ العربي الحديث. مثلت الرواية خطابا موازيا للأحداث منذ نكبة فلسطين، وحتى تحطم الأحلام القومية إثر هزيمة 1967، ويظهر هذا الخطاب ردة فعل المجتمعات العربية على هذه الهزائم المتعاقبة، ومدى تجذر حالة الانكسار واليأس في الوسطين الفكري والأدبي.. يحلل البحث عددا من أهم الأعمال الروائية التي ألفها روائيون من مختلف بلدان العالم العربي مواكبة للتطورات السياسية والاقتصادية والعسكرية، كما يقف على آراء ووجهات النظر التي قدمها عدد من النقاد والمؤرخين والمنظرين لفن الرواية العربية حول القضية. |
