| المستخلص: | يهدف هذا البحث إلى الكشف عن مشكلة القصور المتعلقة بأداء طلبة قسم التربية في جامعة الحصن لمهارة التحدث. والسؤال الرئيس للدراسة هو: ما مدى تمكن طلبة قسم التربية في جامعة الحصن من مهارة التحدث الشفهي؟ وقد تفرع عنه الأسئلة الآتية: ما مهارات التحدث الفرعية اللازمة لطلبة قسم التربية؟، ما مستويات أداء الطلبة لمهارة التحدث الشفهي بوجه عام؟، وتأتي أهمية الدراسة من أنها تتواءم مع الاتجاهات المعاصرة في أهمية إعداد الطالب المعلم بوصفه ممارسا مهنيا متميزا وفق أسس ومعايير تجعله قادرا مهنيا على الممارسة الواعية. وكذلك استجابة للاتجاهات الحديثة في ضرورة إعداد الطالب المعلم التي تنادي بأهمية امتلاكه المهارات التي تؤهله ليكون معلما فاعلا. أما بالنسبة للطلبة فالدراسة يمكن أن تسهم في إعدادهم للمواقف الحياتية المتنوعة التي تتطلب منهم امتلاك مهارة التحدث الشفهي. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى أن الضعف في مهارة التحدث يعود إلى أسباب متعددة منها ما يتعلق بطبيعة الفرد نفسه، حيث نلحظ أن الطالبات الخليجيات بصورة عامة يشعرن بالخجل من الحديث أمام الآخرين. ومنها ما يتعلق بطبيعة المجتمع الخليجي حيث نرى أثرا واضحا للمربيات الأجنبيات على السلوك اللغوي بشكل عام والتحدث أمام الآخرين. The study aims at exploring the reasons behind the low level of mastering the skill of speaking among a sample of education- major students at Alhosn University in Abu Dhabi. The main question was: To what extent do the students of the education department master the skill of speaking? Two other questions emerged from the main question: What do the minor- speaking skill students need?, What are the levels of performance in the oral skills in general? This study is significant because it is in line with the modern trends in preparing the professional student / teacher according to standards that help them to be aware of their profession, in addition to the calls for preparing high level of teachers who master the necessary skills that help them become professionals. As for the students, the study contributes to preparing student / teachers to meet daily challenges and situations which require the mastery of the skill Speaking. The study concludes that there are more than one reason that lead to the low level of the mastery of the skill of speaking of the student/ teachers.. Among them is the traditional image of the female students in the Gulf society where women are not fully participating in societal activities specially those which require speaking out loudly. In addition to the influence that foreign maids leave on the Gulf children’s language in general and the oral skills in particular. |
