| المستخلص: | هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى تتبع أخبار العسكر والعساكر عند الحسن بن محمد البوريني في كتابه تراجم الأعيان من أبناء الزمان، وقد بدأت الدراسة بالتعريف بالبوريني من حيث ولادته ونشأته، إضافة إلى التعريف وبإيجاز بشيوخه وزواجه ورحلاته وثقافته وآثاره ومنهجه في كتابه التراجم. ثم توسعت الدراسة بتتبع أخبار العسكر والعساكر عند البوريني، سواء جاءت هذه الأخبار مباشرة أم جاءت من خلال من ترجم لهم البوريني. وقد خلصت الدراسة إلى أن ما قدّمه البوريني من معلومات عن حركة السكبانية، والحركات الأخرى الخارجة على السلطنة العثمانية ليعتبر بحق من أهم ما كتب عن هذه المواضيع، سيما وأن قيمة هذه المعلومات نابعة من شخص عاصرها ودون لها، كما تم تثبيت جدول بأسماء من ترجم لهم البوريني ممن لهم علاقة بالعسكر وأخبارهم، حيث جاء هذا الجدول في نهاية الدراسة، وفيه موجز للأخبار التي وردت في كل ترجمة، وسبقت هذا الجدول خاتمة أجملت ما ورد في الدراسة بإيجاز.
