| المستخلص: | Temporary detention is an exceptional measure based on the restriction of the personal liberty of the accused, the purpose of which is to reveal the truth. It is ordered only when judicial supervision is insufficient to ensure compliance by the accused before the courts and can only be ordered if objective and formal conditions are met.\nOrder No. 66-155 containing the Code of Criminal Procedure, as amended and supplemented by Order No. 15-02, establishes guarantees for the accused in order of provisional detention under article 124, and its duration is specified in the articles of misdemeanours and felonies, as well as other guarantees for the accused.\nLa détention provisoire demeure une mesure exceptionnelle qui restreint la liberté individuelle de l'accusé.
