Behavioral Intention Perceived Ease of Use and the Usefulness that Affect the Use of the Computerized Physician Order Entry "CPON" System in Jordan

| المستخلص: | The Computerized Physician Order Entry (CPOE) system is perceived as useful and easy to use by physicians, and it has been well accepted and used by them in their medical practice. The researcher applied Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) from the physicians’ perspective. The study examines and explains patient confidentiality and privacy on usefulness of CPOE usage, security of CPOE access and ease of use of CPOE usage, perceived ease of use and usefulness on behavioral intention to use CPOE and behavioral intention to use CPOE on actual of use CPOE system within TAM and tested four hypotheses based on these relationships. The study respondents comprise of physicians working in two Jordanian hospitals namely, the University of Jordan Hospital and Khalidy Hospital. Efforts were exerted to distribute 144 questionnaires by hand to the respondents in both hospitals. Out of the total distributed questionnaires, 118 questionnaires were returned indicating a rate of response of 82%. Future studies may extend this study by focusing on the acceptance and adoption of CPOE among physicians in the context of the organization. This is expected to help researchers and practitioners understand the information technology acceptance behavior of physicians in healthcare organizations in Jordan. يهدف هذا البحث إلى تطبيق نموذج قبول التكنلوجيا [tam] من أجل التنبوء وتفسير قبول الأطباء لنظام cpoe من خلال الفائدة المدركة ومدي وسهولة الاستخدام لهذا النظام من قبل الأطباء، بالإضافة إلى ذلك سعت الدراسة لمعرفة ما إذا كان النظام قد تم تبنئه وتقبله واستخدامه من قبل الأطباء. في ممارساتهم الطبية من أجل ذلك استخدام الباحث نموذج [tam] من جهة نظر الأطباء. هدفت الدراسة أيضا إلى فحص وتفسير سهولة الاستخدام والفائدة للنظام والتوجه السلوكي للأطباء نحو استخدام نظام cope من خلال نموذج [tam] تمثل ذلك بأربع فرضيات رئيسيات بناءا على هذه العلاقات. عينة الدراسة تتألف من الأطباء العاملين في اثنين من المستشفيات الأردنية وهما مستشفى الجامعة الأردنية ومستشفى الخالدي. وتم توزيع [144] استبيان باليد إلى المشاركين في كل من المستشفيات. من إجمالي الاستبيانات الموزعة، اعيدت [118] استبيان وتشير نسبة الاستجابة 82% قد تمتد الدراسات المستقبلية هذه الدراسة من خلال التركيز على قبول واعتماد cope بين الأطباء في المنظمة. ومن شأن ذلك أن يقدم المساعدة للباحثين والمزاولين في فهم مدي قبول الأطباء لأنظمة المعلومات في مؤسسات الرعاية الصحية الأردنية. |
