| المستخلص: | استهدفت الدراسة تعرف صورة أستاذ الجامعة التي يتوقعها الطلاب قبل التحاقهم بالجامعة والصورة التي وجدها الطلاب بعد التحاقهم بالجامعة في كل من مصر وكدا والصين، وما تتضمنه هذه الصورة من إيجابيات وسلبيات، كذلك تعرف مدى وجود فروق بين استجابات الطلاب عن صورة أستاذ الجامعة قبل وبعد التحاقهم بالجامعة في الدول موضع الدراسة، ومن ثم تعرف تأثير العوامل الثقافية والتعليمية التي أثرت على تكوين هذه الصورة، استخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (١٢٥) طالبا بجامعة الفيوم - مصر، و(هي) طالبا جامعة وسط الصين الزراعية Huazhong Agricultural University - الصين، (٦٠) طالبا جامعة شيربوك Sherbrooke - كندا، وتوصلت الدراسة لعدة نتائج أهمها أن الطلاب ركزوا في جميع البلدان موضع الدراسة على الصفات المرتبطة بالدور التعليمي مقارنة بالصفات المرتبطة بالدور البحثي والدور المجتمعي، كما أن الصورة الذهنية التي تمناها الطلاب في أستاذ الجامعة في جميع البلدان موضع الدراسة جاءت جميعها إيجابية، وهو ما يدل على تفاؤل الطلاب، غير أن الصورة الذهنية التي وجدها الطلاب في أستاذ الجامعة بعد التحاقهم بالجامعة في كل من كندا والصين جاءت إيجابية، بينما جاءت في مصر سلبية، والذي قد يرجع إلى طبيعة الدراسة في هذه المجتمعات وأسلوب اختيار عضو هيئة التدريس وإعداده وكذلك الإمكانات المتوافرة في كل جامعة. The study aimed to identify the image of the university professor that the students expect before joining the university and the image that they found after joining it in Egypt, Canada and China; and the advantages and disadvantages of this image. In addition to recognizing the differences between the students’ responses about the image of the university professor before and after joining the university in the three countries in which the study has been applied, identifying the effect of the cultural and educational factors influenced the composition of this image. The study used the descriptive approach, it was applied to (125) students at Fayoum University in Egypt, (75) students at Huazhong Agricultura University in China, and (60) students at Sherbrooke University in Canada. The study concluded that the students focused on the qualities associated with the educational role compared to those related to the research and societal role, also, the mental image that the students wished in the university professor in the three countries was positive, indicating the students' optimism. Although the mental image that the students found in the professor after joining the university in Canada and China was positive, it was negative in Egypt, which may be due to the nature of the study in these communities and the method of selecting and preparing the faculty member as well as the available resources in each university. |
