| المستخلص: | الحذف الاعتباطي ظاهرة لغوية برزت في بعض مفردات العربية، وهناك فرق بين الحذف القياسي، والحذف الاعتباطي، فالحذف القياسي سببه علة تصريفية، وأما الحذف الاعتباطي فعلته التخفيف، ولما نقص معنى هذه الكلمات فلم يعد فيها معنى الحدث نقص منها بعض حروفها، والحذف الاعتباطي يضع للقوانين الصوتية، وله أثر في تغيير المقاطع الصوتية أنواعا وخصائص، وهو يعالج الثقل المقطعي في الكلمة، ويأخذ الحذف الاعتباطي أربع وجهات هي: الحذف لحروف العلة الثلاثة والهمزة، والحذف لحروف غير أحرف العلة، والمخالفة بالحذف بين الأمثال، والمخالفة بين المتقاربات بالحذف، والحذف الاعتباطي على ثلاثة أقسام: حذف لام الكلمة، وهو أكثرها، ثم يليه حذف عين الكلمة، ثم حذف فاء الكلمة. The arbitrary deletion is a linguistic phenomenon that has emerged in some Arabic vocabulary and there is a difference between standard deletion and arbitrary deletion.
