The performance of higher education is evaluated internationally by many institutions in which the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) as well as the Shanghai ranking, published annually by Jiao Tong University in China under the name "Academic Ranking of World Universities" (ARWU). |
