| 520 | |b Old planning approaches and methods applied in Khartoum Metropolitan (KM), did not give foundation for the understanding of new development trends. Current development trends in KM are so diversified, and many-sided, that it was not possible to get one consolidated picture for the philosophical basis, in applied urban planning concepts. Recent developments of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in Sudan provided considerable challenges and opportunities to improve the management of Urban Planning Process (UPP) and make better use of resources. This new technology was applied in the delivery of services and for many people the Internet has become the first point of access to services and information .The paper represented an investigation into the applicable urban planning process in Sudan, and review of the literature focusing on the UPP in KM in response to the evolution of ICT, in order to clarify the current situation and to develop proposals for the UPP in the future. | ||
| 520 | |a نظريات التخطيط، القديمة والأساليب المطبقة في العاصمة الخرطوم، لا تعطي الأساس لفهم اتجاهات التنمية الجديدة. اتجاهات التنمية الحالية في الخرطوم متنوعة جداً ومتعددة الجوانب، وأنه من غير الممكن الحصول على صورة موحدة واحدة للأساس الفلسفي، في مفاهيم التخطيط الخضري المطبقة. قدمت التطورات الأخيرة في تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات في السودان تحديات وفرص كبيرة لتحسين إدارة عملية التخطيط الخضري واستخدام أفضل للموارد. وقد تم بالفعل تطبيق هذه التكنولوجيا الجديدة في مجال تقديم الخدمات، وبالنسبة لكثير من الناس أصبحت شبكة الأنترنيت أول نقطة للوصول للخدمات والمعلومات. تمثل هذه الورقة تحقيقا في عملية التخطيط الحضري المطبقة في السودان، وتركز على استعراض البيات عملية التخطيط الحضري في العاصمة الخرطوم استجابة للتطور في تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات، بهدف توضيح الوضع الراهن ووضع مقترحات لعملية التخطيط الحضري في المستقبل. | ||
