| المستخلص: | This research presents the life of Abu Nasr Ibn Al-Muayad, one of the scholars of the sixth century of Al-Hijrah, who was not mentioned in the books of biographies and the eminent figures. But he left behind a scholarly work that denotes the scholarly status that he enjoys. This is the book of "Tuhfat Al-Akhyar Fi Aqsam Al-Akhbar" in which he wrote his autobiography. He related a number of Prophetic traditions and news with his own transmitted chain about twenty-three of his Sheikhs (tutors) and he took upon himself to write their biographies. He also mentioned some of his sayings and citations from his book "Tuhfat Al-Akhyar", showing the scholarly value of this book which no seeker of knowledge will dispense with it. |
