| المستخلص: | كان المجتمع المصري القديم يهتم بحقوق الجيرة، نظر لما لها من تأثير قوي على الأسرة، حيث تؤدي إلى زيادة التراحم والتعاطف والمودة بين أفراد المجتمع الواحد، لذلك أدرك المصري القديم مدي أهمية الحفاظ على علاقات الجوار والصداقة مع أشخاص لا ينتمون إلى أسرته. وسوف يوضح البحث تلك الحقوق من خلال بعض النصوص المصرية القديمة مبينا من خلالها حقوق الجيرة في المجتمع المصري القديم، وترجع صعوبة التعرف علي تلك الحقوق إلى أن المصري القديم لا يسترسل كثيرا عن حياته الاجتماعية، فضلا عن ندرة المصادر والنصوص عن الموضوعات الاجتماعية. وسيوضح البحث مدي التشابة الكبيرة بين حقوق الجيرة في المجتمع المصري القديم وحقوق الجيرة في الدين الإسلامي مما يشير إلى مدي ما وصل إليه المصري القديم ممن مستوي فكري رفيع وراقي في المعاملات الاجتماعية، كما سيوضح البحث المفردات التي استخدمها المصري القديم للتعبير عن الجيرة والجيران والاشتقاق اللغوي لها ومدي قربها من أفعال تعني أهل أو أقارب أو أسرة أو من أفعال تعني قرب أو جوار أو محيط أو جانب أو جيرة.
