المستخلص:Human brain is probably the most complex structure in the known universe; complex in its physical structure; complex in its nerve connections, complex in its functional tasks; complex in its abilities to perform learning processes. Discussion of such complexities in details needs books. This paper, however, presents a simple description of the structure of the brain and a brief discussion of its functions. It presents the main functions of the two hemispheres (right-left) of the brain with more concentration on the functions that are related to the right hemisphere since it has been neglected from the education systems for a long time. Such knowledge, it is believed, helps learners to be aware of how their brains work in order to select the appropriate styles and strategies for better and accelerated learning. Being familiar with such knowledge, educators are able to organize curricula and design courses that take into consideration the brain's natural learning processes. Such knowledge also helps educators to focus on instruction that promotes creative thinking and the growth of the brain. They will advocate continued learning and intellectual development throughout life.
