| المستخلص: | The pattern of students movement through the graded system of the new secondary schools has been analysed by applying the theory of discrete Markov chain under usually assumptions. Efficiency of the system has been measured in terms of expected proportion of survival of students, expected period of stay of students and expected wastage of time by students. The results of the analysis reveal that their over all performances in the system are far from satisfactory. But the behaviour of the girls in the system is better than that of the boys. |
