| المستخلص: | التاريخ أحداث ومواقف وأهم عناصر صناعة هذه الأحداث والمواقف الشخصيات التي لعبت دوراً كبيراً فيه، أن تاريخ أمتنا الإسلامية مليء بالشخصيات التي كان لها دور وتأثير في أدوار الحياة وشاركت بصورة مباشرة أو غير مباشرة برسم أحداثه ومن تلك الشخصيات شخصية أبو القاسم محمد الأكبر بن الإمام علي (عليه السلام) المعروف بابن الحنفية. فهذه الشخصية اقترنت بالبيت العلوي اقتراناً شديداً وواضحاً وامتزجت بأحداثه ووقائعه امتزاجاً ملحوظاً ومشهوداً لا يمكن أن ينكر. فقد تتلمذ بن الحنفية على يد أبيه الإمام علي (عليه السلام) ونهل من وافر علم أخويه الإمامين الحسن والحسين (عليهما السلام) كما انه عاصر الإمامين السجاد والباقر (عليهما السلام) ولكن مع ذلك تعرضت شخصيته لحالة من الغموض والضبابية في بعض المواقف والجهات في حركتها وكانت مثاراً للتساؤل والذي حفزني للبحث عنها هو ما قرأته من بعض من كانت لديهم بعض القناعات المستعجلة تجاه هذه الشخصية مثلا لماذا لم يخرج مع أخيه الإمام الحسين (عليه السلام) إلى كربلاء فهو إذن ليس حرياً بالتقدير والاحترام كما يلاحظ في تعامل الكثير من الناس معه وكذلك ما قرأته من بعض من يستشهد بشيء مبتور ليجعله سبة ودليلاً سلبياً شخصه.
