| 520 | |a يهتم المعلمون والمقبلون على العمل بمجال التعلم والتعليم بدراسة نظريات التعليم التي تظهر أوجه التشابه عند مكتسبي اللغة ومتعلميها كتلك الخصائص التعليمية التي يشترك فيها الجميع، ويكاد يهملون أوجه الاختلاف عند متعلمي اللغة. لقد أثبتت الدراسات أن هناك كثيرا من الفروق الفردية وأن تلك الفروق يترتب عليها استخدام أساليب واستراتيجيات تعلم مختلفة. هذه الورقة تقدم مجموعة من أساليب واستراتيجيات التعلم التي تظهر هذه الاختلافات عند المتعلمين وتبين أثرها في عملية التعلم، وذلك من أجل أخذها في الاعتبار عند تصميم المناهج الدراسية، وعند اختيار المادة العلمية وأثناء العملية التعليمية. |b Teachers as well as prospective teachers of languages have always been concerned with theories that seek to explain globally how people acquire and learn language, what common characteristics there are in all learning. They are rarely, if ever, concerned with the plethora of differing contexts of learning, differences across individuals in the way they learn items, or differences within any one individual. As a university instructor and researcher in language acquisition, learning and teaching, I believe that effective learning and teaching can only take place if teachers are provided with such knowledge. Being aware of such knowledge enables them to matching their methods of teaching with the student's learning preference. This also helps to improve the student's self esteem and to create a good relationship between the teacher and the student for effective learning. This paper presents the different types, styles and strategies that students use in learning languages in general, and English as a foreign language in particular, in order to find out how to match them with the appropriate learning materials and teaching methods. | ||
