| 520 | |b The broken plural impaired out of nouns and adjectives in classical Arabic puts forward a challenge to the Theory of Morphology. If the formation of a plural form is explicitly put into play of “affixation” of a morpheme of plurality in which the affix of the masculine is «u:na» : ([muslim] muslim [moslimu:na] muslims and the one of feminine is «a:t» : [muslimat] muslim [muslima:t] muslms, the impaired plural seems rather to lay in the difference of forms that share the same consonantal roots, and that differ between each other, by the vocalization : [qasr] palace [qusu:r] palaces. This research paper proposes an analysis about the formation of an impaired plural that derives out all forms by unique process, that’s, the insertion of one of the three glides /u/ /a/ and /i/, in a particular place between the 2nd and 3rd consonantal roots. The post-site C2, for the creation of an attack (C) or the nucleus (V). It explores then the results of this analysis for a general organization of grammar. I have developed a theory named (Statistic). The latter is based on a data in which the lexicon is designed as a set of sets of elements filled in with significations but deprived of forms. The aim is to manipulate a function that takes a set of elements as a set of departure (a set of singulars) to come up with well-constructed items that constitute, thus, a set of arrival (a set of plurals). The outcome becomes the series (CV). | ||
