| المستخلص: | Web Information Retrieval is becoming more important because of the fact that the best and, particularly, the quickest conveniently available source of knowledge is the World Wide Web. Therefore, web search engines are rising as very useful and reliable tools in knowledge finding and research activities. This paper is a survey focusing on web information retrieval techniques. Current web search methodologies are discussed in this survey as well as open research problems. |
