| 520 | |b As well due the new global developments such as globalization and international trade liberalization, the developing countries should compete and access to the world markets. To achieve this goal, we face a lot of challenges, some of which are. Changing the traditional comparative advantages. And creating or gaining new competitive advantages and preparing the new strategy to develop the Egyptian industry. Therefore, the aims of the study are: Estimating the ability of the Egyptian economy to merge in the mechanisms of the new international and global economy. Reducing the barriers and restrictions which prevent the growth of the industrial sector and the restructuring of economy in a way appropriate for the competitive advantages that Egypt has . The study consists of five sections: -Introduction International competitiveness and its measuring methods. -Assets and Processes -The strategy of the competitiveness. -The Egyptian industry and the challenges it faces. The study concluded the following results: Egypt will not able to merge with the global economy, unless it achieves the following: -Restructuring the productive sector. -Increasing the volume of exports, and opening new markets . -Promoting regional integration. -Developing the technological base. -Raising the capabilities of human resources. -Atraining a competitive environment to assist the industrial secctor to compete. | ||
