| المستخلص: | أثارت مسالة تداول الأخبار عبر التاريخ، وكذا العلاقة القائمة بين الصحفي ومصادر الأخبار جدلا كبيرا في الأوساط الإعلامية في جوانبها الثلاثة التاريخية، المهنية، والقانونية. مما تطلب الأمر الوقوف على حيثيات هذا التحول التاريخي والوقوف على ابرز لمراحل التي مر بها، في الوقت نفسه وفي ظل التطورات التكنولوجية الحاصلة وما أفرزته من تطور تقني مس بصفة خاصة الوسائط الإعلامية، بالإضافة إلى الحرية التي أتاحتها شبكة الأنترنت بروافدها المختلفة من مواقع إلكترونية وشبكات اجتماعية دعا إلى ضرورة الحديث عن زوال نظرية حارس البوابة الإعلامية من عدمها ، لذلك أردنا من خلال هذا المقال أن نقف على اثر هذه التطورات والتحولات التاريخية على طريقة تداول الأخبار وعلى العلاقة التي تربط الصحفي بمصادر الأخبار.
