| المستخلص: | This article aims to demonstrate the economic, financial, commercial, technological, geo-strategic issues that are blocking of the construction of the Arab Maghreb Union, by considering the multiple and various potentials (geographic, demographic, cultural and human) of this region. Viewing to the issue of security in the Sahel and the Mediterranean the author specifically defends the need to adopt a common and comprehensive foreign policy that is enabling this region to master the challenges, threats and crisis facing the world. But the success of this project depends on the establishment of the rule of law and democratic values in society. In this case the economic diplomacy should invest in stability and collective intelligence of the people, in order to become a real bridge between Europe and Africa. |
