| المستخلص: | Altaf Husain Hali (1837-1914) is a great writer and well known Islamic poet. He was considered as a reformer of Urdu poetry. He uplifted the Muslims of sub-continent to learn the modern knowledge and science. Allama Iqbal built up a glorious building of the poetry on the base of national poetry which was founded by Altaf Husain Hali. He blew a new spirit among the Muslims. He wrote many valuable books for the renaissance of the Muslims.
