520 |b The thesis examines the relationship between accessibility of infrastructure services (Shopping centers or supermarkets) by local public transport and geodemographic characteristics of census Output Areas, on the Leicestershire County territory. Performing classification of the Place survey data (collected in 2008 years by The Oadby and Wigston Local Strategic Partnership) for accessibility of infrastructure services (Shopping centers or supermarkets), inside the Excel software. Evaluating geodemographic characteristics of UK 2001 Census Output Areas represented by clusters, by performing multivariate analyses (Principal Components Analysis and Cluster Analysis) and Descriptive statistics methods, inside the SPSS software. On the end of the research, by the mapping of accessibility of infrastructure services (Shopping centers or supermarkets) results and Multivariate Analysis Clusters results inside ESRI ArcGIS software. With the intention that as the ultimate result gave the response on the question, which social indicators define areas where live people that have easy accessibility to services infrastructure (Shopping centre or supermarket), and on the other hand, which social indicators define areas where live people that have difficult accessibility to services infrastructure (Shopping centre or supermarket). Also this study will answer to the question where these places are geographically located inside Leicestershire County. These results can be used by the side of public transport services to know in which areas, they need to implement new transportation lines. It can also be used by the side of owners of Shopping centers 01 supermarkets in order to know which locations (areas) are suitable for the positioning of news. As well as real estate agents in order to highlight areas that have good transportation connections with the local Shopping centers or supermarkets.
