| المستخلص: | لا شك في أن سعد محيو لم يتعد عتبة المبالغة في وعوده ووعيده لسكان الأرض بجهنمهم التي ينحتونها بأيديهم، وما خبر غمر المياه لخمس جزر من جزر سليمان في المحيط الهادئ مؤخرا، ووقوع ست جزر أخرى تحت طائلة الغرق سوى تأكيد لمخاوف الكاتب، ولأدلته العلمية - القائمة فعلا... والآتي أعظم! \\ ولكن لا شك أيضا في أن محيو قد يكون قارب الحلول أو التمنيات، وهو في حال نشوة روحية التمس فيها ما يراه خيرا للبشرية بصياغة وعي جديد. وهو بذلك يكون قد فعل كما سبقه من فلاسفة وخبراء وأخلاقيين وأنبياء في تأرقهم لرسم عالم البشرية على هيئة وسلوك الملائكة لا الشياطين ولكن لم يفلحوا. \\ ثمة ما نشير إليه ويتعلق بغياب أو تغييب الكاتب دور أعلام في الثقافة العربية حول البيئة، مع أن المرحوم مصطفى كامل طلبة - على سبيل المثال - اسم على علم "الديبلوماسية الخضراء"، و"الأب الروحي للبيئة "، الذي صاغ برنامج القرن الحادي والعشرين للبيئة في قمة الأرض في الريو عام 1992 . \\ وقد اعتمد تنويع مصادره بالحجج والأفكار، ما يساعد القارئ على الفرز والاستنتاج. لكننا نلاحظ تغييبا أخر لأسماء مفكرين وفلاسفة من التراث والواقع العربي والإسلامي في عملية بناء الوعي الإنساني: فهل لذلك علاقة بأرجحية التقدم العلمي في الغرب، وانعدام مراكز الأبحاث في منطقتنا؟ وتاليا التراكم؟ \\ كما اعتمد المفهوم العلمي لتفسير الأحداث الإيكولوجية الأوسع، متوقعا النتائج، لكنه استبعد دور عالم الماورائيات لدى أهل الأديان السماوية، وهو عالم قائم وموجود وله رؤاه للحياة والموت ف "كل ما عليها فان". \\ على الرغم من فجور سياسات النيوليبرالية ورائدتها الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية في تدمير البشرية، إلا أنها - وليس \\ دفاعا عنها إطلاقا - محطة في تاريخ البشرية الذي ما برح يتقلب بين حروبه الدائمة وسلامه الموقت منذ فجره، حيث تتسابق فيه صلوات السلام ومجازر الإبادة. \\ لقد أضاف الكاتب موضوعا ملحا للنقاش والتداول إلى المكتبة العربية، على أمل ألا يبقى على رفوفها... هو موضوع عصري لراهنيته المقلقة، ولتبعات نتائجه الخطرة مستقبلا، كما أشار في أكثر من سطر وصفحات تحذيرية.
