المستخلص:In the process of the formation of contemporary culture, our heritage need to be restored its position. 3D representation actions become a vital process for the purposes of conservation, and providing the precise details for analyzing and exploring. By characterizing and describing the initial problems, it is possible to determine the required goals and objectives of the documentation process, about which certain explanations must be provided, and identifying the goal abstractly, followed by selecting the headline of the documentation process, in order to determine the appropriate method, tool and the technique to provide essential information and to achieve the objectives. Documentation processes that carried out on Mosul traditional houses are undertaken as the case study shows that photos collection of the documents was very poor for showing and representing buildings details. It does not provide any significant materials for the purposes of the representation of building’s model. When a large database of images, their attributes and detailed descriptions is configured, it could be used as the main source to form 3D models by using software of Photogrammetry, or create a 360° panoramic environment to explore the building information for management purposes of preservation or re-construction activities. By using three specific programs of creation and navigating in 360° panorama, a complete interface of historic houses spaces that provide an initial virtual environment of the building have been created panoramically, which can be used in the definition of its details, with sufficient precision to create 3D models, using recent tools, programs and techniques necessary for maintenance and preservation.
