| المستخلص: | The results of the evaluation study of the book “Philosophy and Issues of the Age” set for the third grade of secondary school, showed the authors' great attempts in respect to observing the good standards and specifications of the textbook. That was in addition to the attempt of the authoring team to show the link between philosophy and contemporary environmental issues, by highlighting its role and function at the practical level alongside the theoretical, its attempts to overcome ethical and value-based problems and deviations, and to link the student to the content of real life and its problems. That was by presenting the topics of the book in a way that urges the student to contemplate, provokes his thinking and questions and motivates him to search for information and form a critical view of what it contains. This is alongside revealing the shortcomings of some aspects of the book, as shown by the previous tabular reading, a matter which makes clear the need to avoid the aspects of weakness and to support the aspects of strength, in order to enhance the functional efficiency of the book.\nThis abstract translated by Dar AlMandumah Inc 2018. لقد أظهرت نتائج الدراسة التقويمية لكتاب "الفلسفة وقضايا العصر" المقرر على الصف الثالث الثانوي، محاولات الكتاب الجاهدة في مراعاة المعايير والمواصفات الجيدة للكتاب المدرسي، وكذلك محاولة فريق التأليف لإظهار الربط بين الفلسفة وقضايا البيئة المعاصرة بإبراز دورها ووظيفتها على المستوى العملي إلى جانب النظري، ومحاولاتها التغلب على المشكلات والانحرافات الأخلاقية والقيمية، وربط الطالب بمضمون الحياة الحقيقية ومشكلاتها، وذلك من خلال عرض موضوعات الكتاب بطريقة تحث الطالب على التأمل وتستثير تفكيره وتساؤلاته وتحفزه على البحث عن المعلومات، وتكوين النظرة الناقدة حيال ما يرد فيه من مواقف تعليمية. هذا إلى جانب إظهار القصور في بعض جوانب الكتاب كما تبين من القراءة الجدولية السابقة، الأمر الذي يوضح ضرورة تلافي جوانب الضعف، وتدعيم جوانب القوة بما يرفع من شأن الكفاءة الوظيفية لهذا الكتاب. |
