| المستخلص: | تنامى في هذه الأيام اهتمام كبير باتجاهات الجمهور العام نحو المرض النفسي. ولكن معظم الدراسات التي ركزت على اتجاهات طلاب الجامعة نحو المرض النفسي بينت تضارب في النتائج. هذا البحث هدف إلى معرفة اتجاهات طلاب جامعة طبرق نحو المرض النفسي، وأيضا معرفة تأثير بعض المتغيرات (الجنس، الكلية، العمر) على اتجاهات الطلبة نحو المرض النفسي. العينة تكونت من (261) طالب (113 ذكور، و 148 إناث) تراوحت أعمارهم من 18-30 سنة، أكملوا الإجابة على مقياس الاتجاه نحو المرض النفسي من تأليف (زينب شقير، 2002). وأظهرت النتائج أن اتجاهات طلاب الجامعة كانت إيجابية نحو المرض النفسي. بينما كشفت النتائج عن عدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا بين الذكور والإناث في الاتجاه نحو المرض النفسي. وأيضا بينت النتائج أنه لا توجد فروق دالة إحصائيا في الاتجاه نحو المرض النفسي تبعا لعمر الطالب ونوع كليته (آداب –علوم). هذه النتائج اختلفت مع نتائج بعض الدراسات السابقة في حين اتفقت مع كثير غيرها. وقد فسرت نتائج البحث بناءا على الأدبيات المتوفرة وطبيعة المجتمع الأصلي، وأخيرا قدم الباحث عدد من المقترحات لبحوث مستقبلية. In these days, a greater interest has developed in the attitudes of the community towards the mental illness. However, most of the studies focused on the university students' attitude towards mental illness produced conflicting results. This research aimed to identify attitudes towards mental illness among Tobruk university students. It aimed also to identify the impact of some variables (Gender, age, and college) among students' attitudes toward mental illness. The sample consisted of (261) student (113 male and 148 female) aged from 18 – 30 year, completed the scale of attitude towards mental illness, designed by (Zenb Shqer, 2002). The results showed that the attitudes of university students towards mental illness was positive. However, results showed that there were no statistically significant differences in attitudes towards mental illness among males and females students. It was also found that there were no statistically significant differences in attitudes towards mental illness according to student's age and type of college (Science – Arts). These results are disagreed with some previous studies, whereas, they are agreed with many others. The research findings were explained based on the review of the literature and the original society. Finally, in the light of the research objectives and results, the researcher presented some recommendations for the future studies. |
