| 520 | |b The idea to accomplish this project has driven the author for some time. He has become aware of the richness of the archeological and ethnographic material, which could constitute a significant museum collection. Furthermore, the author has been approached by group of families about preserving the region's cultural material. Means of developing the project and for its implementation are now being sought. The Cambridge Africa Collaborative Research Program, which enabled the author to visit museums in the UK, attend a workshop, and to collect much material from the largest archive relating to Sudan, together with the efforts and support of various institutions in Sudan, such as the National Corporation for Antiquities and Museums and the state government of the White Nile, in addition to local and international organizations, will help to bring this about. | ||
