| المستخلص: | يمثل النوري بن بلقاسم المهذبي نموذجا لأحد أعوان الباي المحليين الذين اختاروا أن يتعاونوا مع سلطات الحماية الفرنسية منذ بداياتها مثله في ذلك مثل الباي وكان يرى في موقفه هذا أنه لا يتعارض مع خدمته لدولة الباي . وعمل النوري بن بلقاسم على تهدئة القبائل والاتصال بمشائخهم للقبول بالمعاهدة وحاول أيضا أن يساهم في عودة العديد من المهاجرين التونسيين إلى طرابلس إلى مواطنهم بالبلاد التونسية . لكنه بعد سنوات من إسدائه لخدماته تجاه نظام الحماية لم ينل ما كان ينتظره من جزاء وكم كانت خيبته كبيرة من جراء ذلك. The case of Nuri ben Belgacem caïd of the Mehedhba is the type of the local tribal notables that in agreeing to collaborate with the authorities of the french protectorate was believed to serve at the same time as the bey of Tunis. He tried to convince insurgents of the correctness of his position and worked for the success of the repatriation operation of Tunisian refugees in Tripolitania. But after years spent in the service of the protectorate, he doesn’t enjoyed privileges expected and disappointment was huge. Le cas de Nouri ben Belgacem caïd des Mehedhba est le type des notables tribaux locaux qui, en acceptant de collaborer avec les autorités du protectorat français croyait servir en même temps le bey de Tunis. Il essaya de convaincre les insurgés de la justesse de sa position et travailla à la réussite de l’opération de rapatriement des réfugiés tunisiens en Tripolitaine. Mais après des années passées au service du protectorat, il ne bénéficia pas des privilèges attendus et sa déception fut énorme. |
