| المستخلص: | The article focuses on the major changes in living practices in the traditional houses within the medina of Annaba, the historical the city centre. By their new forms of use and practice of inhabited spaces of the traditional house, the dwellers try to reconstitute counter-types that correspond better with the requirements of the present time. The medina has subsequently sidetracked its original organisational scheme as a result of the deconstruction of the social system on which its equilibrium was founded. L’article porte un regard sur les principaux changements dans les pratiques habitantes des maisons traditionnelles au sein de la médina d’Annaba, le centre historique de la ville. Par leurs nouvelles formes d’usage et de pratique des espaces habités de la maison traditionnelle, les habitants tentent d’y reconstituer des contre-types plus en correspondance avec les exigences du moment présent. De cette manière, la médina s’écarte du schéma initial suite à la déstructuration du système social qui assurait son équilibre. |
